Travel – Paces of Places

I feel like each place, every city, town, and village, has its own pace, its own way of life, its own unique character.

And it is hard to say whether the place affects its inhabitants, or if is actually the people who make a place the way it is.

Sometimes it seems like you were meant to be in a specific place at a specific moment in time or phase in your life because a place suits you at that point, and you match its energy.

And you feel yourself adapting and changing to suit your environment, no matter how different or hectic it might be at first. And before you know it, the unfamiliar becomes familiar, and what was familiar before is a distant memory from another time.
